Zero. They are not real.
Wow! That's the most thumbs down I've ever had.

YES I can tell you about some vampire bats and their names.
VAMPIRE BAT; Vampyrus Spectrum, six and a quarter inches. Found in the tropical forests of Guianas and Brazil.
Vampires belong among the leaf nosed bats, which have lobes of skin on the snout. They have no tail and the wingspan is about 27 inches. At one time it was thought that they could kill a man by sucking his blood whilst he was asleep. It is now known that they feed chiefly on insects and fruits. The term vampire would have been more appropriately applied to the true blood sucking bats.
INDIAN VAMPIRE BAT; Megaderma Lyra, three and a half inches . Found in India and Ceylon. The large ears are united in the middle line. Indian vampires feed mainly on frogs ,and insects ,but also take small birds.
GREAT BLOOD-SUCKING BAT; Desmodus Rotundus, two and three quarter inches. Found in Mexico to Brazil and Paraguay. This and two other related species are the true blood-sucking bats. The outer inscisors and canines of the upper jaw are very sharp and are used to pierce the skin of sleeping horses, and cattle and men. They do not actually suck the blood from the wound, but rather lap it up with their long tongues as it flows out.
These are the main vampires, but I could have told you about the other kinds of bats.

Roughly nine "types," however, within these are several upon several sub-types. The nine main types are as listed:
1. Mythical Vampires - your typical movie vamp.
2. Psychotic Vampires - sociopathic mental illness causing one to believe or just pretend to be a vamp.
3. Vampire Animals - such as the vampire bat or vampire fish.
4. Human Living Vampires (HLV's) - Humans, but exhibiting one or more vampiric traits.
5. Psychic Vampires - These are your energy feeders.
6. Sanguinarians - Literally, blood-drinkers.
7. Blood Fetishists - Humans that get aroused sexually by blood.
8. Vampyres - Humans who live vamiric lifestyles (these people do exist.)
9. Medical Vampires - Humans that exhibit vampiristic traits due to certain medical conditions. (most likely explanation of HLVs)
The link I have listed as a source goes more in depth about these, and you can find out more about their sub-types there as well.

How about this? I'm a vampire. Get it? No, you probably don't. Well, I am, and I don't expect you to believe me either. Your modern cadences are too utterly unsophisticated to understand the truth underlining the silliness. And as far as I know, there are only two types. Me, who drink animal blood as an alternative, and those who drink human blood. And Stephenie Meyer knows far too much for her own good. Maybe she's a vampire...?

Well I only know of and have heard of two.
The first being the traditional vampire that feeds off of blood.
The second being a vampire that feeds off energy.
Of course there are many variations of these types too, some are both as well.
Since they have bred with regular humans and have bred with each other, the specifications vary by vampire.
Not to mention half breeds, which are human vampire crosses.

There are generally 2 different types: The thing which distinguishes the different "types" is mainly the method of feeding. Some feed on blood; others feed on psi/energy. Some can feed on either/or, or both. I think this mainly is determined by one's own level of psychic ability. Most commonly, those who feed from psi/energy take it from people, whether it's from individuals or crowds of people.
Some claim to be able to feed off of the energy generated by storms; others claim that they feed on sexual energy (energy generated during sexual interaction); others say they feed from emotional energy, etc. -- these are all different forms of energy feeding, and in all cases, the different "types" of vampires are all still boiling down to be energy feeders, or psi-vampires.
Have you ever been in a room, and a person walks in, sits down, and you just feel, "blah." Its highly possible they are a vampire, sucking the energy out of you.

Only 1 - those who drink the blood and eat the flesh of their master; so that they may live forever.
Ever heard of anything as crazy as a blood ritual that will give you eternal life???
Funny thing about Vampires - when they look in the Mirror they do not see the Vampire they have become.
Got some hands down, here: THEY LIVE...
