So. I've been counting my boyfriend as being born in the year of the snake, he was born Feb 8th, 1989. But since the Chinese New Year is in mid-februaury, he might be in fact born in the year of the Dragon. Thats the case with me, I was born in '91, which is the year of the goat, but I was born before the Chinese New Year so I'm a horse.

Those born between Feb. 6, 1989 and Jan. 26, 1990, like your boyfriend was being born on Feb. 8, 1989, makes him an Earth Snake.
FYI, those born between Jan. 27, 1990 and Feb. 14, 1991 would be Metal Horses and those born between Feb. 15, 1991 and Feb. 3, 1992 are Metal Goats.

Wow, well... I would have to say, that if there can be a 'mixed sign' in Western Zodiacs, then there can be 1 in Chinese Zodiacs. And just like with the Western Zodiacs, the person's personality can be mixed of both signs, or none at all. Just like with anything, personality comes 1st.
But um... Hm... I say if you were born in the year of the Goat, but before the Chinese new year, so your a Horse, then why can't it be the same for your boyfriend? I don't know when the new year started and I have tried to find out, 'cause now ya got me curious... But I can't seem to get it... Sorry... I'm sure you'll get it soon, though.

I think you could say that all predators will eat any other predator when available. But I can't think of any that attack each other on a regular basis. A pack of wolves would attack and kill an ill or injured cougar as would a cougar attack and eat a injured or dead wolf he found. I think that any 2 species that are so evenly matched that each could kill the other would avoid that conflict because they damage they suffered even when they won would be to great. Its easier for a pack of wolves to kill a deer than a bear.

The Chinese calender is so unpredictable each year. It doesn't always starts in mid February each year. I know this doesn't help. Anyway, I'm a roaster. :)
