No! There are an average of around 8 lives lost per day, do the math!This is a terrible loss of life! How many young lives must be lost before they say to many people have died!

Surges have been failing ever since the war started. Not sure where a couple more months will help. Anyways, that's the reality so I guess we have to wait.

No, last year Iraq's Parliament sent Bush a letter asking him to remove the US troops and now their Prime Minister has stated that the US troops are not needed and can leave.

There is no reason to stay there any longer.

I'm with you on this! But do you think we'll get an honest answer as to whether things changed or not? A good share of people say things have improved and there are those who say they haven't so will we get a straight answer?

I agree and the simple truth is no matter what we think, that is exactly what is going to happen. So we can gnash our teeth and pull our hair out and pass nonbinding resolutions until the cows come home, or our congress can do something that is good for our country like come up with a real solution for border security that doesn't include amnesty.
