It hasnt hurt my career but it affects my sideline which is politics. As many of you know, local politics are often controlled by a couple families and that power is passed down.

Well, I work for a company right now that has nepotism comin' out it's ears... and my mother also works for a company that is full of related employees. It has proven to be lucrative for both of us because we both have the most stable jobs we've ever had (umm... I hope I didn't just jinx it! LOL).
So, I'm in favor of nepotism, as long as the job gets done properly and it doesn't become a hindrance... but of course that's a whole other issue! :-)

Nepotism hasn't affect my life AT ALL. Everything I have--everything-- I worked for. I don't, and WON'T, take any 'handouts'.

Helped, definitely. My boss is also my boyfriend. His son also works for him. It's all good.
