Your hatred for your protectors is the 'normal' reaction of the sheep to its guarddog, but have no worries, we'll still do our best to keep the wolf at bay.

Those who are unwittingly taken in by the rhetoric of those indicted, should NOT feel offended. I understand that the media has misportrayed the war and that certain politicians have used that.

Quest for Truth: You'll find the truth on the blog. The troops don't want you protesting to end the mission to protect you. They might appreciate you protesting to return to the 1992 size of the military so they could spend more time with their family.

Patrick, of course anyone can pretend to be anything on the internet and I've seen plenty who have pretended to be veterans. Those that have been, can in fact see through the haze of the internet and those claims as surely as they can see through the guy at the bar. Certainly those individuals they meet in person, who are known to them to have served have greater credibility than one who hides behind a computer screen, and makes their claims, out of necessity for the regulation that safeguards us from any possibility of perception that we speak for the military itself, out of uniform.

Nevertheless, you are welcome for my service. My interests are NOT politics. They are the national security and protection of our constitution. And our threat is clear but unaware to many in the citizenry.

I put forth my knowledge and experience from behind this mask of a computer screen that the truth of the enemy will be known.

And yes, I do take issue with certain politicians.

But, my goal is not political and I will not delve into the bickery of politics, other than where our national security lies.

To those that are either confident enough in your beliefs or just ready to accept the truth, despite what the media tells you to believe, read the blog. You'll get a combat veterans' self-educated view of independently verified facts on the war and the enemy.

1. I do not blindly parrot anybody. I believe that the war was ill advised and poorly planned.

2. Please be specific, it impossible to answer a generalization.

3. I do not hate anyone. I believe that the current administration's policies are misdirected at best.

4. I do not substitute name calling for debate of a legitimate issue.

5. You are welcome to say anything you wish. My position on the Iraq invasion and the current administration's handling of the security of this nation in general is not based hatred or lies, rather, it is a genuine concern that this country is being mislead.

and btw, anyone can cut-n-paste pictures of iraqi children and claim to have been there on YA. But the reality is, almost everyone (especially younger people) knows someone who has been there, and i think they trust those people a little more than a possible posser on the internet.
