I am glad you asked that because I am in the same situation.
I preordered it from Borders, but am going to the premiere at Barnes and Noble. Do I have to preorder it from Barnes and Noble too, to get it at the midnight party? Because I don't want to go to the premiere and not get a book! That's stupid!

even if u preorder the book i doubt ur gonna just get in and leave. i preordered the last 2 books and i came @ 9:30 ish and left around 1. its crazy...but idk...if u live in a small town it mite not b so bad. i would preorder it tho cuz in the line, people who preordered get called first, then the ppl who didnt in order of when they entered the store.

You don't have to preorder but you may be last in line. I have preordered mine from Borders and they are having a midnight party.

It probably won't be a big deal to walk in, buy it, and leave. They have plenty of books to meet demand. When the 6th book came out I went to a B & N at 12:30, walked in, bought it, and walked out.

I don't think so, but you risk a chance of it selling out if you don't. I assume that the ones who preorder it get to be first in line and whatever is left goes to everyone else.

not to go, but if you want to get the book at the party, you defiantly will need to order it.
