How long have you had your water heater? Machine is last about 15 years most, and every year, you have to turn off you water heater, wait for it to cool down, release the water (used to be hot) from the water heater to clear our the mineral in the water... Very likely that the water heater is needed to be replaced. Talk to Home Depot, Lowe, or Ace. they will explain to you about the noise. Or it could be the hot water pipe inside the wall got loose of the bracket.. (I doubt it).

Yeah that happens to me... it kind of sounds like an annoying, loud bee buzzing right? Well, that was the only way I could think of to describe it, but I have heard it before.

I think it is normal. My shower still does it today, and my family has not done anything to "fix it" so I assume it does not need to be fixed. If you want you can check with someone to be sure.

Hope I have helped in some way :)
