I have seen it time and time again...even if the pretty girl is kind hearted. Why the hatefulness and unnecessary jealousy?

as a guy, I can say after 45 years on this planet, living around ugly and hot girls, that hot girls are much nastier to average, and medium hot girls. They are nice to ugly girls. I feel that females live in a constantly changing pecking order. It is apparently very important for the prettier of 2 girls to be down on her friend to ensure she keeps her place, below her.

What do you mean unnecessary jealousy? A pretty girl gets more attention, especially from guys. I can understand the irritation.

well i disagree with this, because most (and when i say most, i do not mean all) pretty girls have an attitude that makes them think they are so much better than everyone else. they think since they have good looks, they can get away with most everything and do most everything they want to.
if a average or ugly girl is mean to a pretty girl my guess would be jealousy, because pretty girls are intimidating to most mediocre people. it could also go back to human nature and if someone has an advantage over another they feel obligated to try to defend themselves.

It depends on how first the pretty girl treated the not-so-pretty girl???i don't think you can generalize about this, but maybe because our society make them feel "inferior" and maybe they are jealous....

On the contrary, there are plenty of quote/unquote beautiful girls out there who are nasty towards the not-so-prim ones.
Whenever I feel myself wanting to be rude to someone based on what they look like, I stop it and open my mind to say, "Hey, you don't know him/her. Calm down." It usually works out very well.
