is it as much as a ripoff or is it better than rent a center?

Rip off in what way?

They both provide equipment and furnishings to people on a weekly payment program, despite them having nasty credit that normal lenders would run screaming from.

I think what your problem with them is how much more you pay them for things than if you had the cash to buy it direct, or a really good credit rating and could get it on terms from a regular furniture store.

Well - that's the price of making bad choices and not paying your bills, running up debts and getting a bad credit score.

neither are scams or ripoffs - they are simply providing a service to those who can't get credit.

Same company, different name.

They serve a purpose - and take a risk doing so - serving a population who might not otherwise qualify for any kind of lending agreement.

If I were you, I would save for whatever it is you want to have, then pay for it in one lump sum rather than paying the higher amount over a longer period of time.

That requires patience and the willingness to do without ... the lack of this type of patience is what has gotten so many people over the head with credit debt over the last few years. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

they are the same however, they serve a purpose to build a nothing credit rating to something. they serve the young men and women that wish to create a credit basis.
