nightserf blue eyes might be a human trait but so is being a w@nker , are you getting my point yet??? !!!
OK sorry about that pups , I'll try and answer you now . I think if a certain "type" of human (I'll use your example) were to loose the blue eye characteristic , i think this would be down to evolution of our species rather than them dieing(or being wiped) out ( god i hope they don't coz I've got blue eyes lol ) and the fact that the world is getting smaller and races are starting to merge this is a possibility for some minority's , and there are theory's that there wont be people with red hair in a few hundred years . So i would be more worried about the endangered animals on the planet , because we are systematically exterminating them 1 by 1 , and that's the scary part because there are very few people that actually care about this issue , gr8 question pups xxxx

Extinction is a perfectly natural process. 90% (and maybe more) of all the species to have ever lived on Earth are now extinct. Humans didn't wipe them all out.
We are however by our actions increasing the rate of extinction.
Human activity is causing the loss of biodiversity. This
simplification of systems will result in instability leading to more extinctions and parameter fluctuations.
A very likely scenario is that one day humans will cause the disappearance of so many other species that the microbes which now cause disease in so many other living things will attack us as there will be no other hosts left. Within a generation humanity may be reduced to a few isolated pockets of survivors or completely wiped out.
One more thing, instead of dwelling on irrelevant information like the color of someone's skin or eye color try taking a walk through a park or wilderness area and see the commonality shared by all life.

I more worried about animals like polar bears. I care less about the human race going extinct than I do about the bottom of my shoe. We're thriving so much, we're killing other animals in the process. And I certainly don't care about blue-eyed blond humans. I'm also worried about predators like lions. People are killing them just because they're killing their livestock.

There's a certain genus of human seemingly becoming harder to find . . you know the one...it's the kind we can get along with, the ones who speak the truth and are not afraid to be open and direct while at the same time accepting criticism as a way of improving or bettering themselves. The kind who see beauty in everthing and everyone and are willing to lend a hand and a shoulder to lean on.
It seems the type of people we can trust intimately, ones that we can go to for help and frank answers, are disappearing fast. They're the kind you tend to read about, the ones people talk about as if they ARE actually extinct...they are the people who tend to be attached to someone else...so where do they find them?
In all honesty...I worry for the human race more than I do for the wildlife upon the planet. We messed up...good style.

Human breed?? Don't you mean tribes of people?? like down in South America? It is all in the name of progress that we lose what we value in diversity.
I agree that the polar bear is in trouble but I doubt blue eyed blondes will be in any danger of disappearing any time soon. Humans are diverse as well as the gene pool. But the polar bear is fast losing its living area due to global warming and humans encroaching on its living area. The same could be said of the giant panda bears, tigers, elephants, lions, rhinoceros...etc...etc....I can go on and on because humans need space and we are crowding out the animals slowly. We need to learn to live with nature, not overrun them.

When we talk about human extinction, we don't usually talk about "breeds". We should be worried about a certain animal becoming extinct becomes the reality is that many species are on the verge of extinction, and there are nothing threatening the human race of its entirety at this moment.

Certain races? Well, there have been 6 or 7 different species of man so far. We are Homo Sapien, thats 1, where are the other 5 or 6?? Yes they can go exstinct. The Cro-Magnum man is gone. Some say the disappeared without a trace, so to speak. Look at homo habilius or homo erectus, they are gone. Unless you beleive in evolution then none of them are gone cause we are them. But I dont believe that... I didn't come from a monkey!!! Homo Africanus is gone.. No its not the modern african either they are sapien. So I guess they can!

If any human became extinct, then the world would become a narrow genetic pool. This would lead to the demise of other human spirits, and before long all of us. This would then leave us with no animals to love or miss because we wouldn't be around to see them!.

Species of animal.
Last I checked, blue-eyed blondes were still having children. Although the phenotype may be (proportionally) reduced in the future population, the alleles are in no danger of being lost. You'll learn about this in your genetics and population biology classes in college.

My mum said the blue eyes are going because a lot of girls are mating with black men and Bosnians so there will not be anyone with blue eyes soon and why are they not considered to be something that is becoming extinct. Blue eyes are the best
