It's probably loosely based on an Al Capone type character. But it's not 100% about a certain person.

No The character in the movie "Scarface" was not based on one person. It was written by Oliver Stone. Al Pancio plays Tony Montana a Cuban immigrant who takes over a drug empire.
Al Capone AKA "Scarface" was from a whole different era whole different type of criminal.

Al "Scarface" Capone, a notorious ganster of the 1920's and 1930's. Al literally owner sections of Chicago during that era.

Are you talking about Al Capone or the guy in the movie? Al Capone is definitely real but I don't know about the guy in the movie.
