Okay, I just want a part-time job to get by with while I'm attending college and I have been considering Target and Wal-Mart. The obvious choice is Target and I would love to work there but my boyfriend's ex-wife works at a Target (not the same one I'd be applying for). I should be able to work where I want, right? I shouldn't care what she thinks but I guess my immaturity is kicking in! Someone give me some reassurance or advice! Thank you

Your boyfriends ex wife works at one Target, you'd work at a different Target. What difference would that make? You could work wherever you want.

Target is a huge organization. Don't worry! That's like saying she was Catholic so you're afraid to join the Church! Yes, you can work wherever you want. You are being a little paranoid but that's understandable.

Who cares about his ex-wife work where you want mabey you two will become friends and be able to share funny stories!! she is in the same case as you it obviously did not work out for either of you trust me things will be fine!

Youd be better off working at target..... especially if your bf ex wife doesnt even work there..... its gonna be ok dear.
Target is way better than Walmart!

I would agree with the other posters work where you want and be glad that you have a job because sometimes jobs can be hard to find.
