Several thing can cause it. The thermostat if it is sticking and the rad cap has a bad gasket . Be sure the rad is not clogged, don't flush it out, its useless, take it out and get it rod out its cheaper in the long run. Good Luck and GOD Bless

Dear Coolant-

I suggest that you have the system pressure tested at a local shop.

You could have a head gasket failure. This is pretty serious, and unfortunately prepare for a rather large repair bill!

It could be that your cap isn't on correctly. Wait until the engine is cool (you can get badly burned!), then try to push it down and turn it to get it to seal.

Otherwise, it could be that your cap is messed up and you need to buy a new cap.

RAD CAP, THERMOSTAT, HEAD GASKET OR MANY OTHER THINGS.

TRY FINDING AN INDEPENDENT SHOP INSTEAD OF THE DEALER OR A CHAIN STORE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE OVERALL MORE PLEASED WITH THE FINDINGS AND THE SERVICE.
