It depends on your definition of demand. There are more people in business administration; but more 'demand' for software engineers due to the relative lack of qualified people.
Incidentally, the most common job in the US truck driver.

Anything related to computers is always in demand. Good luck with the American dream, I wish you the best. Yes the medical field especially a RN is always, always in need of help so yes that also would be a great field to pursue. In the employment adds usually have a whole page of just people seeking RN's or LVN's so if you can tolerate the job that would be your best bet.

Labor intensive trade jobs are in some of the highest of demand. but of the 2 you want to know about, business administration is in demand in the US.

The highest demand now is in the health profession, especially registered nurses. beginning registered nurse can make $35,000-$40,000 easily. With a few years experience, they can make over $50,000+. There are lots of people going into the computer industry and business, so the demand there isn't so great, but there is a limited demand.

Healthcare / nursing is in high demand because of the aging population and the higher medical needs..
There is always work for physical trades, construction, plumbing , electrical etc.
Teachers will always be needed...
Information tech. also has some demand but its much more regional (ie. NY, CA , BOS, DAL, WASH )
