I am talking the Discovery Channel banner (The Secrets of Egypts Lost Queen) right now on Yahoo news and elsewhere...I like History but I think this is a rude intrusion into my morning, and should be banned. It is ridiculous that they warn before showing a female breast, but obviously no problem with a view like this. Children are looking, and they get nightmares, I had to pass on breakfast when saw first...

It is one thing to see it when I choose to...out of curiosity and desire to learn. Another thing is to be enforced to see it, as a distraction while reading something else...be the way, keeping our sensitivity is a survival tool, isn't it?

If that's the worst thing I see while reading or watching the news today I will consider myself and my community blessed.

People pay admission to historical museums to see a mummy . It's a learning experience ; but all one needs to do is change the dial . You must admit ..a mummy isn't the same as a deer on the highway who died yesterday . While not exactly pleasant breakfast topic - kids will see that sort of thing in their history books . Maybe that's why we weren't allowed to watch TV at breakfast time .

That would depend on who that person was. Show me a picture of Bin Laden or Bush and I'll say it's about time.
