The heavy hitters (Superman, Hulk, Surfer, Orion, Thor) are way too much for a whole team of heroes like Spidey, The Beast, Luke Cage, Nightcrawler, Daredevil etc even slow them down. Spidey and Luke Cage together can lift maybe 20 tons... Spidey's about 10 and Luke Cage used to be about 3, but I'm guessing he's stronger these days. But still, neither of them are anywhere near the 100-ton plus level where the big boys play. Not to mention that Supes is much faster than both of them, and has plenty of other abilities he wouldn't even need.

Supes all the way. What could Cage and Spidey do to the Man of Steel that would harm him? Spiderman's web wouldn't even slow Superman down.
