I Have A Hard Time Choosing Tbh. The Ramones And The Clash Are Hands Down My Favourite But I Guess You're Right - Loads Of Awesome Punk Acts Are Overlooked Today. The Cramps, The Adverts, The Damned, Television And Stiff Little Fingers Were All Superb And Aren't Widely Recognised Today. The Clash Will Always Be My Favourite Though - Sorry!

I know they've been mentioned but I'm going with Bad Religon and Social D. I mean how many bands can still put out great music after almost 30yrs together (both formed in 79). Lord knows how many times Bad Religon's had me running for a dictionary to find out what that word was that Graffin used(lyrics from a guy with a doctorate, great), or Mike Ness wrote a song that I can completely relate to(Ball And Chain, I Was Wrong). I'm just pissed that I've never seen either band live yet.

I've jumped straight in with Wire but I noticed The Tubes mentioned, I never quite got what the Tubes were but if White Punks on Dope from OGWT is what you're saying then, well, I still have the nightmares. Ministry still rock, Television, the whole Country, BlueGrass and Blues scene (CBGB's) (know one likes a smart ***), there's some awsome tracks on that last Graham Coxon album, Teenage Jesus, Blitz (they were a bit local) along with the Violators but I'm still going with Wire.

There's a number of different bands I could throw up there but I'll say X, Alice Donut, The Adolescents, and Gorilla Biscuits this time.

It is so hard to pick just one!
