Just wondering what the average is, What's the main reason you would block someone?

I've blocked 15, mainly racists, homophobes, and general extreme bigotry. I've also blocked 2 because they latched on and just answered with filth. I wouldn't block someone because they held a belief different to my own.

None. There are some people I would like to vaporize, but I haven't asked that many questions, so I don't have anyone stalking me.

I did lose 1300 points on my first adventure here, so I am a little circumspect about what I say. I always try to imagine what the Thought Police are going to say when they read something I post.

many...I once reached my limit of 200 blocks...but then I had to go back and release the ones who were repeated clones...like closetcase1, closetcase2, closetcase3,,etc. I even asked y/answers why they couldn't just remove them from my blocked account when they deleted them...their answer was that I was blocking for the wrong reasons. Well the reason that I block people is to save time...I have nothing to say to them..and they have nothing to say to me...so I don't get my personal space on here all cluttered with messages that I don't want. The main reason I block people or should I say try & block people is because my friends tell me to but I just can't figure out how to find them to block them

Well due to a bad experience I recently had. I have had to be more attentive to blocking users. I have only blocked the necessary amount depending on associations. I don't like the idea of blocking users, but you can't be to careful. Even on Yahoo Answers.

The full 200; mostly trolls and miscreants. I don't need them messing with me. Life on Y/A is so much better without their "responses."

As Yahoo suspends their various accounts, I just remove the block and place it on their new account.

I have 9 blocked users. I only block people who I find to be incredibly disrespectful or rude or if I feel as if they creep me out with their answers.
