Whether you want to rap or do something else, you need passion and drive. If you really want to learn then I suggest you listen to some Eminem, or Ice-T. Then once you've got the general idea, get out a pen and paper, and start writing. Another thing, keep a note pad and a pen close to your bed, sometimes the best ideas come to you in your sleep. If you think of something good just write it down.

My friend is absolutely AMAZING. He started when he was 11. Download freestyle beats. I wouldn't suggest starting out with freestyle right away- that can be really hard. Try to write a little something down and rap to the beat. Soon it will get easier, then you can move up to freestyle (It takes a really great rapper to do that though) But after five years of my buddy doing it, he can freestyle non-stop! He went to a recording company and they had him freestyle for ten minutes without stopping! Best of luck to you!

it;z more of an art..you can;t learn how to do it..
you need to have good beat and rhythm...
it;s lyk poetry!
start off by writing rhyming poetry, if you have a wide vocabulary it will help you and make things easier(if you don't then start reading books to make your vocab grow :] )
and when you;ve finished with your poem start adding beats and say it in more of a songish/songy way, with a beat!
it might not be that good at first but that's ok!!

PRACTISE is the word!=P

hope i helped!!=) =D

purchase the e book "a thank you to Rap: The technology of Emceeing". i've got not have been given it myself notwithstanding it has many passages written with the help of and approximately distinctive rappers in Hip Hop like Guerilla Black, Kool-G Rap, B-genuine of Cypress Hill and others. The e book shows human beings the rhyming skills and thoughts used with the help of the vast gamers in rap. pay attention to all forms of rap besides. proscribing your self to Lil' Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake (working example), will decrease the effect rap has on your vocabulary. pay attention to the likes of Rakim, KRS-One, Eminem, Ice cube and Immortal technique - they are all very distinctive and have distinctive techniques to rap.

listen to different material.old skool,new skool,underground,beats,lyrics...see what style you like.i recommend staying away from mainstream topics (cars,money,girls).start by writing w/o beats.just write what you feel,an experience you've had.then find some beats and try to write to those.once you think you have something good have someone listen to it and see what they think
