Depends on what kind of music you want to hear or use it for. There are some great show tunes like "Sound of Music", "Yankee Doodle Dandy", and "Grand Old Flag". "Heart and Soul" is a good 30's number and so was the remake in the 50's. Roy Rogers' "Happy Anniversary" is a very moving piece that he wrote for his wife, Dale Evans. If you are into big band, you can't go wrong with "String of Pearls" or "In the Mood". Anything by Doris Day is great for dancing or listening. If you like music of the 40's, check out the Andrews Sisters. "Islands In the Stream" is a great Dolly and Kenny love duet. "Mr. Blue" (Johnny Crawford), "Just Married" (Marty Robbins), "Big Man" and "Dear John" are good pieces to check out. Looking for a story in the song, then "Big John" (Jimmy Dean), "Running Bear" (Sonny James), "Show Folks", or "Banned In Boston" (Merv Griffin). Jimmy Dean (yes, the sausage man) was a great story teller. "Beer Barrel Polka" is a classic and a polka is fun to dance. It all depends on what you are looking for.
