I always answer questions in the same catagory and answer til I cant answer anymore, so what gives.
The answers I give are fairly informative, usually answer opinion based questions.

You have to get at least 10% best answer in a one catagory, i think. I have this problem too. I answer so much, and still don't get a top contributer badge thing.

According to the "rules" you have to have 10% of the best answers in any one catagory.
