i have a new invention and want to sell it to playtex.do i sell the rights or idea or patent or what can i sell them so that i stil get royalties.

Sure you can. It just depends on what kind of deal you make with whomever buys the rights.

You could sell it for a big lump sum, or for a smaller lump sum plus royalties. Do what you think is best.

If you patent it, you hold the legal rights to license it how you want.

You can sell it outright, or you can license it under a royalties model. It all depends on what you can negotiate with the buyer.

I think you should get your idea patented first then sell the idea so body can take the invention a way from you.This way you might be able to get the royalities

You can make a deal with some company to make
your product. BUT... do it carefully. An idea can be stolen by an unscrupulous company.
A patent would probably be the best idea, if you
can afford the attorney fees.
