Hiya Curramba769,

To make change the cursor smaller in any version of Windows, you need to open the "Mouse Properties" applet. This is found in the Control Panel but in some versions of Windows you will need to click the "Switch to Classic View" on the left side menu within the Control Panel in order to make it visible.

Another way to open it: Click on the Start button and select "RUN". In the "RUN" box, type in "mail.cpl" and click OK (leave out the quotes when typing).

Now in the "Mouse Properties" applet, click on the "Pointers" tab along the top. The first item is the pointer used most of the time, double click on it and a window with different cursors will open. Double click on a smaller one that you like and then click the OK button.

DONE

TIP: You can choose a "Scheme" from the drop down that has different sizes/styles of all the cursors that appear in Windows.

GOOD LUCK!!
