Several countries still practice child mutilation, in this day and age should supposed doctors allow this child mutilation and for that matter molestation continue unchecked. You cannot dock a dogs tail but you can cut lumps of a babies penis.

For the record there is NO good medical reason for male circumcision. It is purely a fad. No cutting of a person "Does not hurt". To suggest less than "on no account" implies ignorance and the requirement of education, both religious and medical.
As a person who is "A religious" I feel that any so called religion that condones or accepts child mutilation should really be banned in a civilised world.

As far as ear piercings etc is concerned, I do agree, but a start has to be made and circumcision is far more serious and irreversible. A hole in the ear lobe will heal, other places I do believe are not. In fact I do believe that it may be a criminal offence already. However!!!
Perhaps all perpetrators should be forced to have a prince oh dear not allowed to say the rest...mmm perhaps they already have.

I believe that a law should be introduced requiring that every medical person should be required to report any instance of child mutilation they find in this Country, and parents should be investigated and charged if found guilty As noted above - it is illegal to dock a dog's tail, but mutilation of a child is OK?!
If someone wishes to be cut around once they have reached the age of consent, for religious or vanity reasons, then that is their choice.

Absolutely it should be banned. The pain and shock must be incredible for a baby who has no way to understand it and it is removing something which has an obvious purpose, to preserve sensitivity thus allowing an adult more enjoyable sex.

I wonder how many grown men could opt for removal of their own foreskin without anesthetic. Totally barbaric.

Banned by who?

Each country has their own laws. And if they don't pass laws that prohibit those kind of atrocities, other than invading them (too) there's nothing another country can do.

Should those countries pass laws prohibiting child mutilation? Of course. I doubt any civilized person is going to argue that hurting children is a good thing. But opinions vary.

Absolutely. I am very much against child mutilation, and that DOES include male infant circumcision. Babies are born into this world in exactly the form they are supposed to be in...perfect.

The U.K. still allows children to be mutilated by allowing babies and infants who have no choice in the matter to have their bodies pierced for the insertion of jewellry

sadly its just one of many terrible things that happens to some children! and it just gets ignored its about time that something is done for all the many children in the world suffering at the hands of monsters.....in Britain paedophilia is rife and nothing is done???? they get put in hostels because the prisons are full and in the meantime our kids are at risk! its insane putting children in such danger to get the prison numbers down! and (people are gonna hate me for this...) but why not just hang the scum where there is unquestionable doubt send them to hell where they belong?

Why cut a bit off a willy until you know how big it's going to be?

Yes it most definitely should be banned, it's an archaic, dangerous, unhealthy and in some cases fatal practice

If you are referring to female circumcision it is barbaric and should be banned.Male circumcision is somewhat different and is frequently done for medical reasons, and if done in those circumstances is done as a proper surgical procedure, hygienically and causing very little pain.
