I have to always make sure that there are no bubbles in the sink when i have finished washing up. I cannot rest until they are all gone. By the way, for anyone else who has this trouble, put a bit of fabric conditioner and water into a squirty bottle and spray onto the bubbles, they go instantly!

YUP i had a MAJOR OCD problem from about 8 yrs old -21 yrs. i am 23 now and i have calmed down alot since i hjad kids and started meditation and yoga. For your specific situation i suggest that if your wife doesnt understand after you explain the issue once take a deep breath tell her that you are going to walk away and clear your head then proceed to do so DO NOT go back and expect an apology from her just let it go and know that when she is ready and willing to apologize she knows where to find you. If at any point you feel anxiety is building up try some meditation (breathing in and blowing out the negativity it helps ALOT i still do it to this day). if this does not work for you i highly suggest going to counseling for your ocd and anger issues. i had major issues with both and i managed to control both on my own with no help form a counselor just meditation. it will take some time before you feel the difference but i assure you that once you stop sweating the small issues you will feel so much better.

Germs!
Well, actually, it's a LOT more subjective than that. It's pretty bad, and more than a little weird. I really really don't want people I perceive as "gross" to touch me. I always feel bad about this, but I don't even like shaking hands with them that much, or taking something from their hand. It's like I fear their essence...or their dead skin cells.
Isn't it awful? I don't really act on it. I mean, I'm not judging these people consciously. I just don't really want to come into physical contact with them, and I feel gross afterward if I do, like I should wipe my hand off or something, wash it a few times.
Also, I don't like these people touching stuff around my house, in my purse, generally anything that I claim as mine or of someone related to me.
I wonder if there is a disorder that describes this weird perception manifesting itself into action?
Any psychological explanations maybe? I can think of a few kinds of weird insecurities, but nothing solid.

I'm pretty unyielding when it comes to CDs, which is a problem because my girlfriend can't see my side of it. CD must be placed perfectly in the case; when one CD case is directly on top of another it must be lifted, not dragged; never touch the surface with your hands (either side); don't put a CD on the ground/desk, even for a second; stickers with critical acclaim are to be left on, unless they obscure the cover, whereas stickers offering prices must be removed. So probably more than a little.

Another thing is food combinations. For example, you don't mix something wet (like a casserole sauce) with something soft (like mashed potato). Soft is only complimented by thick (gravy). This extends to colours (especially in meats), gravy can only go with something dark like beef, horseradish and bread sauce can only go with some light like chicken and apple sauce can only go with something dull (tone) like pork. Tomato sauce can be only be used as a dip, brown sauce can only be used to enhance another mixture, like a sandwich.
