I use a deep breathing method, and meditation to relax, when I feel like you are feeling. If that fails, then it is time for a cold beer or a nice glass of wine, and if that fails, go take a nice walk somewhere, any kind of a distraction is good, rather than just sitting there felling terrible. I go to the beach when I feel like that, and when I come home, I feel good. I hope you have a good day.

Ten deep breaths.
Breathe deeply in through the nose, expanding your whole abdomen, up to a count of 8, then hold for a second, and release through your mouth for a count of about 4, and you can make a little "haaaahhh" with it too.
Focus and do this ten times, and I guarantee that you will not be as angry or anxious. More oxygen to the brain can do wonders!

I shop.
Listen to cheerful music or watch a funny or good show.
Sometimes I get my hair or nails done.
I go to the pet store and watch the puppies and kittens play.
Phone my mom or sister.
I guess it depends on what I am angry about. If it's because my boyfriends being a dick, I usually pamper myself.
If it's because something didn't go my way, or I'm just frustrated, the music thing works well, or talking to family or friends.
I used to take baths, but when I'm angry, I can't stand just laying there all still. I need to move around.
Vitamin B complex goes a long way!
I wish you happy days ahead!

im not a big fan of the "counting-to-ten" thing, because i always end up angrier when im done counting. Punching a pillow works ok, but my suggestion is to take a stuffed animal or something soft and plush and continuously throw it against the wall. It'll help you with the anger, and tire you out so you don't do something stupid.

i close myself in my room or a bathroom, and start pacing and talking to myself. to any outsider, it would seem quite comical.

Seriously I cuss up a storm inside my mind and picture myself slapping something. After about 10 seconds I see how ridiculous I am being and laugh. If I am still mad, well, usually running all kinds of "evil eye" stuff thru my head helps calm me down and release some tension.

I either throw my pillows and anything else that is soft that's within reach.
or I listen to my radio station. It's an Christian station with a positive message and it really calms me down
