Beans and legumes (lentils, peas, etc) are high in protein and fiber and can be added to just about anything (you can mash some up and add it to spaghetti sauce, cook them and serve them on the side, use them in salads, soups and stews, etc., etc.). Also, try throwing some silken tofu into cheese fillings for lasagna, manicotti and stuffed shells. Read labels; you want to see at least 3g of fiber per serving in bread and cereal products. There are several cereals out there (GoLean comes to mind) that specialize in high-protein, high-fiber cereals, but they can also be high-calorie. If you're looking for convenience foods, South Beach Diet products are usually high in fiber and protein as well (I liked the pizzas).

Don't forget to eat a diet that's high in fruits and veggies, all of which contain some degree of fiber!

Make smoothies with added powdered milk to increase protein. Also add one pasturized egg to the mix (you don't taste it, but it adds plenty of vitamins). Pasturized eggs are encased in a plastic wrap at the store.

Increasing fiber is easier just using whole fruit. Also oatmeal. If you find a recipe for Oat Bran muffins that you really like, you can make 12 and freeze 11 and just have one a day. Other folks add wheat germ to various things they eat.

you can eat salmon [grilled, baked] in a salad for a protein/fiber combo, or simply have a good hearty toast with eggs for breakfast. just make sure to find the best bread [not white...i prefer a multigrain - try arnold or rudi's organic]. a lean protein like fish or skinless chicken breast with a salad would also be a good pick :] the possibilities are endless and a good-for-you meal doesn't have to be boring and bland.
