why some hospitals in the U.S include the word Sinai in their names?

Because they were founded by Jewish doctors or medical schools.And to the Jews it reminds them of the healing that God provided to the Hebrews on mount Sinai.

The other guys are right. It is ran by the Jewish community. The Catholics also have hospitals as do the Baptists.

though i do not know ,i am in favor of majority,that those hospitals are founded by men from Jewish community.
