Question 1: Tsunamis are caused by sudden displacement of the sea floor during an earthquake, and earthquakes are caused by shifting plates.

Disposing of nuclear waste at sea - as the French used to do - has its own set of problems but causing tsunamis is certainly NOT one of them!

Question 2: I have no idea how many dams are in India, but its well up in the hundreds or more.

The only possible danger of nuclear waste disposal under the sea is 1) Leakage of the waste containers so the radioactive material is carried by currents and enters the food chain, and, 2) the waste somehow concentrates into a critical mass, in which case the likely outcome would be the generation of a huge amount of heat that would be dissipated in the sea water. Even going critical wouldn't cause a nuclear explosion which would be required for nuclear material to cause even a small tsunami.
I have no clue as to the number of dams in India. It must be in the many thousands.

No to your first question. We know that earthquakes are the cause behind tsunami. And no, nuclear waste does not cause earthquakes.

I doubt that anyone knows how many dams are in India. India is a poor under educated country with corrupt government. India has a terrible infra structure. India does a terrible job of keeping information , data and or statistics on it's people and government.

You would have asked two questions separately. ... (1) Disposal of Nuclear wastes, .... (2) Number of dams in India.
Tsunamis are caused by sudden displacement of the sea floor during movement of lava, lava is responsible for the shifting of earth plates and earthquakes are caused by shifting plates.

Disposing of nuclear waste at sea - as the Europeans used to do - is certainly NOT one reason for Tsunami or anything like them.

For the number of Dams in India - definition of dams is not very clear for this purpose. Shall we define check dams and small irrigation dams include in the list of dams? The number will be - I doubt in million. there are some dames built just as a picnic spot, some are for drinking water, some for irrigation, some for multiple use and like that.

no u idiot! This aint the Hulk ok
Earthquakes are the cause of tsunami's and earthquakes are caused by the convection currents under the lithosphere (the crust) and ther are different plate types that collide together, push past each other or push apart. This causes a wave to be created and the momentum keeps it going

now we have to find out the reason think nuclear waste would cause tsunami's
=( this makes me fear the future...
