to make it okay that they were rude to you, and quite possibly mean that God was backing them up?

(this has nothing to do with faith, but the answerer contradicting their meanness with something that is supposed to represent peace)

hmm...are you referring to a certain person who keeps answering Buk's questions rudely then says "God Bless"? Yeah, its those holier than thou people. Personally,I am a Christian, but I don't judge other people because of their orientation, color, beliefs, etc. Sadly,I think that puts me in the minority. We're all here to have fun,and if you don't like someone's question, don't answer it instead of answering rudely...am I right??

Yeah I hate those people. There's also a little bunch who go around being rude and obnoxious, and then add "Good luck" at the bottom. Like, "I'm afraid you're one of the stupidest people I've ever had the misfortune to meet, and you are barred from attending my cucumber sandwiches party forever. Good luck".

I think it's a just a tag they use so they can easily find their answers while voting for themselves.

Yeah, it's like they knowingly commit a sin but think they will receive absolution with the "God Bless".

Ha, no it doesn't. This reminds me of another pet peeve of mine. When people start their insults with "Sorry but......".
For example, "Sorry but, you're a scumbag". So I guess it's ok since they apologized for what they were about to say beforehand. Another example of this is "No offense but...." Like "No offense but, listening to you talk makes me want to shove two icepicks in my ears". Oh ok, non taken.

It's just like they say "bless their heart" after saying something incredibly mean about someone, especially physically wrong with them.. "He is such an UGLY baby... bless his heart."
Yeah, that magically wipes away all enmity and mean comments. It's a miracle!

It is just one more caustic remark....and one of crass ego that reflects most poorly on the writer.

They are hypocrites in my opinion..

Its like when someone says "no offence but....." then proceed to insult you.
