Ok this is pretty vague but its about a couple on there honeymoon (i think) and they stay in this haunted hotel, its from the 1980's i thimk possibly his new wife becomes a ghost or is a ghost its not however gene wilders haunted honeymoon. any ideas.....please?

It's High Spirits starring Hannah,O'Toole,Guttenburg and so on.
Guttenburg ( jack) falls for ghost Hannah (Mary)who was stabbed by husband on honeymoon 200yrs ago by Neesen (Martin).
Martin falls for D'Angelo (Sharon) who is married to Jack which eventually results in Mary trading places with Sharon so Mary is no longer a ghost and Sharon goes from living to a ghost.
The castle is called castle Plunkett Ireland.
Best scene is the priest spying on Tilly (Miranda)the priest gets pushed out of window by ghost nuns one of many good scenes.
Was done in 1988

I'm thinking it probably is High Spirits, but I'll give you another movie title; Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeves. It's a reall good, atmospheric movie.
