What happens to the mucus plug when you have a C section?

I was wondering about this. I mean they dont dig it out so when does it come out ????

I lost my mucous plug more than a week before all my kids were born. If you don't, it will come out on it's own immidiately after the baby when he/she is born. Your cervix will still soften and open to release the 9months worth of period you're gonna have!

it comes out, you still bleed after a c- i did for about 4 weeks

You still bleed with a C. So it will come out on it's own.
