I think it depends how it's done. This is why it would be a good idea to promote sustainable solutions (eco-friendly) for developing countries so that they wouldn't have to change their industries and modes of production.

But developed countries should be leaders there as they have the money to research what those solutions are and then implement them in their own countries.

The earth is currently running at about 6% capacity.

Every new person IS a resource. Every new person is a potential solution to the human condition.

covered in skyscrapers with over 700 levels. with a population over 600 billion. and a permanent smog layer in the lower levels.

If we don't get into space, by then.

perhaps we will migrate to the moon, build big engines, and blast off with the moon as our space ship. to some distant star. to find a new planet, that we will utterly mess up, just like this one
