Depends on how life came to be...
through evolution the Armidillo is very similar to some pre-hostoric dinasaurs and The Gopher was a mammal
But in The bible they would be created at the same time so i would say that it all depends on your point of view.

There have been fossils of giant armadillos from 2 million years ago. I doubt the gopher was around then.
