Even if the person you hurt forgives you?

'Forgive' is a very strong & wrong word in this context.
Sometimes, our spur-of-the-moment actions place someone
in a tight spot. Then we have to offer our explanation
clarifying the position.
Then the affected one (& not the superior one as both aree
equal) understands & drop the matter. Both understand each
other.
This is as simple as that.
No need to blow it big feeling bad at himself / herself !

Maybe this makes me a bad person, but I find it easier to forgive myself when the person I hurt forgives me.
Although, I do find it extremely difficult to forgive myself, when I allow someone to mistreat me in some way.

Sometimes and I find it takes longer than it does for the other person to forgive me.
