OK, on the lighter side again, and I asked this in the Polls & Surveys, but just needed your inputs too.

My all time favourite slow dance number is Karen Carpenter's Touch Me When We're Dancing. What's yours?

Stephanie, I respect all the songs except November Rain :-| Absolutely heart Pink Floyd, though never associated dance with the band.

Erika, as usual you bring on the cheeries :-) and hey, I thought I was the only one who'd get a little soppy with A Summer Place ;-)

It's not mushy. For me, Percy Sledge singing "When a maaaan loves a woman..." and when the right guy (could be the right girl too, love is really what it's all about) is slow dancing with me, and I can get really close and I feel safe with him, (or her) emotionally and otherwise, so I can show him I really have fallen for him (or her). I guess I should write this one down under fantasies.

edit: O M G!!! I totally forgot "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing"!!! Got to toss both other tracks out the window then! (crash)

Otherwise, if there really isn't any love there, but just "like" or at least "don't mind dancing with her all that much" the theme from "A Summer Place" would be my favorite sock hop slow dance track
