I just did a stat search and did a quick evaluation taking into account, ppg, apg, spg, overall shoting efficiency, longevity in prime, and playoff success, then finally my impressions of their play. Left Jerry West off the list as he played both guard positions and would rather consider him a SG, same for several others. These are all true point guards.
1. Magic
2. Oscar Robinson
3. Stockton
4. Bob Cousey
5. Jason Kidd
6. Nate Archibald
7. Lenny Wilkins
8. Isiah Thomas
9. Gary Payton
10. Mo Cheeks
11.Tim Hardaway
12. Kevin Johnson
13. Dave Bing
14.Steve Nash (moving up)
15. Marc Jackson

List looks good. Top ten will stay the same for years to come. Nash was a late bloomer so if he plays several more years he should move up to eleven.

Magic & Stockton were very good PG's but Magic had Kareem & Stockton had Malone. Steve Nash hasn't had that other hall of fame player on his team to feed the ball to i'd say he's the best b/c he makes everyone he plays with better if Steve Nash can actually win a championship or two that would secure him as the best PG ever but thats just my opinion & can be easily debated

The best point guard ever is Magic Johnson....which is answering wat your question asked because u didn't as 4 a list....but wat u got there is pretty good but Steve Nash is already a top 10 point guard in league history..and not 15 as u put him, i would put Nash in front of dave bing, kevin johnson, tim hardaway, mo cheeks, even Gary Payton, and Lenny shouldn't b ahead of Isiah, neither should bob cousy, quite frankly...but thats still a pretty good list none the less

Nice list- people forget how good some of these guys were in their prime.

Looks like Bone Thugs doesn't know much about B-ball... Probably never saw Oscar or Isaiah play. "Pick & Roll to Malone" Stockton isn't even as good as Nash!

best point guard is gonna be between magic and stockton... other than than nobody comes close... we are talking about point guards here... oscar, isiah or even kj are more of a scorers just like an allen iverson type of a player... a pure point guards are the likes of steve nash and jason kidd, they are good however we are talking about the best ever... we may not see the best between kidd and steve but certainly we saw how great magic(mvp's, rings) and stockton(lead all time in assisit) is...
