No, its not wrong to date but thinking that far is a little bit bizarre. I mean your parents mean a lot to you in your life and they always want best for you, atleast till you are an adult. So, listen to your parents.

The Dad in this situation sounds like a typical protective father. At the age of 18, young men aren't anywhere near prepared for a serious relationship. There might be alot of resentment on both your parts because you'll miss out on alot of growing and learning, not only about yourselves but the whole way that life works. What about work, college, and children? No prom, forget about making new friends and having sleep overs or hanging out... you'll have a husband to take care of. Think about it...

As a parent, if it is the right thing to do you can wait until she is older at least 16. You are probably wanting more in the sexual space than she is ready for or understands. Right now it is your heart driving you but step back and think about when you are 21 and she is 16 and you want to go to clubs, or places she can't get into because of her age. It is not only going to cause you problems but if you go without her then she will be come jealous and emotional.

Yes it is wrong for you to date. It's even more disgusting that an 18 year old is interested in a 13 year old. I hope your dad keeps that bat handy until you're 18.

At 13, you you probably have nothing to offer him. And he might not really love you as much as you love him. Probably 99% of the time this is the case but NOT always. I don't think it's wrong for you to DATE, but anything more than that and it probably isn't a good idea. Maybe if you were 16+ that would be okay.

hell, I'd beat him with a baseball bat, too. It is wrong, and you know it. Don't give me this "we LOVE each other" crap. What does he have to gain from a thirteen year old girl? What can you offer him besides a piece of *ss? Seriously? What have you done, what do you know, what are your skills, what are your strengths, what are your experiences? He's a pig and you need to find something else to do to gain experiences besides this boy. Focus on school, join a sport, practice yoga, go jogging, read books on healthy living, become a cheerleader. Anything to get away from him.

At this point in your lives.....yes, due to the fact that she is under the age of consent. If she's really in love with him, then they can wait until she's old enough. But you may find her feelings change a lot over the next few years. She will look back and realize this in years to come, but no-one can tell her that now.

you are just a baby
your dad is right, leave him alone
LOVE is not what you think it is believe me. Love is overrated. If love was such a big deal then there would be no such thing has hookers and pimps. You are way to young to be thinking about boys. If you are want more atteation believe me, watch what you eat and dress more sexy and believe me the boys will come running and you can really pick and chose.

Yes I think at 13 she has not yet had time to explore the world or other relationships and probably doesn't know what she wants. She may be fasinated with the attention.
