Sick of philosophy in general?

Question

I've spent much time in my life pondering. But as of late, I feel highly irreverent to what may be going on in the universe. Am I just on vacation, getting smarter, or getting dumber?

At the very least, thinking is a tiring activity. Philosophy is just one type of thinking.

Gah! Please ignore some of those endorsements for nihilism in some of the answers above.

To feel irreverent is not a means of disavowing existence, it is merely a relaxed mode of thinking. I'd say you're on vacation, you might come back around some day, it's up to you.

It is quite healthy to react with irreverence and humor when confronting the daunting horrible truths of reality, a psychoanalyst would call it a defense mechanism to process the stress.
Many great comedians are all fervent idealists disappointed/disgusted/shocked/or disturbed by the actions of others, current events, and the general state of things.

Satire, like philosophical examination, is just another method.

From personal experience, it`s a phase....
You`re on vacation, but it will change You, in a way that You`ll probably be spending more time questioning Yourself, and the questioning,itself, rather then questioning other things.
