I'm 22, I'm in college and am currently working on an AS in Accounting. My plan now is to finish up my AS at the community college I'm going to and transfer to a University for my BS in either Accounting or Accounting/Finance. I have no idea what I want to do beyond/instead of that. This is what I do know: I like working with people, I'd prefer working with individuals rather than companies, and I hate Cold Calling.

At one point I was thinking about being a financial planner, but from everything I've read it involves alot of cold calling. I don't know...Anyone have any suggestions for things for me to look into?

Maybe since you like working with people you could finish your degree and work forthe IRS - I'm not sure any of those folks they have presently employed there actually like working with people.

And you are right financial planning is SELLING! You could do auditing accounting in any number of people oriented industries.
