catwithwhiskers you can pet the zebras at Park Safari. I've actually did and fed them carrots too.

Great query!
I would want something very unusual as in not many people would love it as a pet, like a vulture for example would come in handy to clean up the roadkill on the road's around here at times and any other corpse scraps.
Lol yes how morbid of me but they just get a bad rep.

A bat, ever really take a look at them they have the cutest little baby furry faces I've ever seen......also a Koala Bear have loved them since I was a very young child, but would have to clip those long, long claws :-))

An ostrich.....but I am not sure they could deal with winters in the midwest USA.....and penguins couldn't deal with summer heat and humidity either, I imagine......
