No longer than male elephants. Unless you're talking about tusks, then no. They don't have tusks.

Long teeth was originally a defence mechanism for elephants, and that is why male and female elephants - both have had it.
As elephants were killed for the tusks in large number in the past, a genetic message from nature start not growing tusks to every elephant. Elephant who have no tusks are called MAKANA in Hindi. It is somewhat like men without hairs on face as beard or like it, - some tribes do not have beard or may have very thin.

All elephants have teeth. You mean the special teeth that stick out called tusks. Both male and female African elephants have tusks, though the male's tusks grow larger. Asian elephants are different. Only male Asian elephants grow tusks, and even they don't always grow tusks at all.

African elephants whether it is male or female, both have long teeth. If it is Asian, then it is only male elephants who possess teeth, not the females.
On the overall, it is the male elephants who have larger teeth.

i guess by long teeth u r refering to the tusks.....well then its only the male which possess the tusks...female lacks them...it can be used for various purposes but one being that in elephant there is a social hierarchy and male's fight with each other for getting the harem (most of the time the other retreats b4 getting seriously hurt)...here tusks are useful
