I've been a member for only one day and already I am blocked. :-(

You see, I pointed out that YA Member-The Dark Prince often plagiarizes. I had found over 15 instances where his poems were in fact copyrighted song lyrics . Most were resolved questions, but I did post comments on those that were still open. Now I am blocked. I didn't do anything wrong, but I feel like I did.

Anyway, I called my girlfriend and had her check him out. One answer she read to me mentioned this guy is publishing a book. I wonder if someone should contact his publisher and make them aware so they can double-check his stuff before they print it.

I guess I will attempt to post my first poem (written by ME of course). Hopefully, I will get some good, honest feedback. Thanks for listening!!

This is for Marilyn: You say you are not happy but that you are not mad at me. Excuse me, but I've done nothing to you so the fact that you are not happy means very little to me. If you are unhappy, I think you need to consider the source...your fiancé. Then you have the audacity to imply that I should be grateful that he unblocked me and that he apologized. What planet are you from?? He is the one in the wrong...not I. Moreover, he OWES everyone he's duped an apology.

It's simple, just say you love his work or he blocks you.

Sorry, DP, but that sounds like an excuse. Own up to your failings.

And Marilyn, really, that's your excuse for plagiarism: someone else has done it before. Two wrongs, let alone one hundred wrongs, don't make a right. Not ever. Stealing is stealing. And in a poetry group, the punishment should be banishment, and the very least the offender should be shunned.

I feel honored! Join the club! I have been blocked by the same person.

If you have another browser, you can easily read the questions of the person who has blocked you, by going to YA without registering: a little trick that has allowed me to read all your attempts (and those of I Hope I Know) at pointing out these pathetic plagiarisms.

I doubt very much that the DP is having a book published: no honest publisher would take the risk of considering such rubbish.

Edit: Marylin, the DP is not plagiarizing any poem, but...he is not the only one who plagiarizes. I love the paradox!

You're taking web manner too severely in case you've given it that a lot notion or it problems you to such an volume. Maybe get external extra probably. It's okay to step down from the keyboard as soon as in a whilst. If anybody blocks you, who cares? Not all people has to adore you. Move on and so on.

Oh my god! The Dark Prince has you too? I thought I was the only one *lol*

I wouldn't be concerned about him, people like that get caught eventually, and I really doubt he's publishing anything, I've read his writing, no publisher would take him seriously.

And if he does manage to publish something, ooh boy he's going to be in for a surprise when the law suits roll in *lol* I'm sure he'll get what he deserves ;)

i look forward to seeing your poetry =)

He is an idiot and you saw through him. Of course he blocked you. He doesn't want you showing him for what he is. If you can learn his real name and publisher - contact them. If he is in fact plagiarizing, he does not deserve to be published. That "someone" you wonder about should be you.

Yes, welcome to the club!! Annabella, I was the one who mentioned his claim to a book being published in November by Viking Books (the info is on his 360). That is when he blocked me. BTW: since he has posted his real name on occasion, I did an internet search...very interesting reading!!

I don't know what are you talking about but I don't think he's plagiarizing any poem. Those are his poems. Look I'm the Marilyn that he always mentioned, his fiancee. He is publishing a book, and is out this November. I'm not happy but I'm not mad at you. I understand your concern. He unblocked you and he apologize to you. Besides, and you think he's the only one here on Y/A who's plagiarizing? There's hundreds of poets here in this category who are doing it, don't blame it all on him. I know this is the most easy-stealing category of all. I write poems too but not so often because I'm sure that someone here is stealing them.

Publish your poems here, but I warned you, this is very risky, feel welcome here, if you want I can add you in my contacts.

Take care!!! Marilyn: daughter of the moon

If you would like further info, please email me. I am unblocking everone else too. I deeply apologize. My love for Marilyn is true. She and I will be married.
