Well I think if we were to look how it would be today it wouldn't be that much different to an earlier date. I think it would be a lot similar to the very early WWF years. I think there would be more territories but no one set super-promotion. Who is to say that some other person wouldn't have been able to organize like Vince did? I just have the feeling it would still be more territorial with a few big ones around the country with a lot of the promotions working together with cross-promotion stuff.

When it comes to turning wrestling into a nationally recoginized form of entertainment, I think VKM did more for the business than anyone else. However, the only thing the McMahon family is good at doing is spending money in the right places. VKM was never the creative mastermind behind any of the succesfull storylines in the business that got fans addicted and tuning in every week. The "Rock N Wrestling" era- Captain Lou Albano...The Pre- "Attitude Era" belong to the "Cliq"... and the "Attitude Era" and the "Monday Night Wars"- belong to Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff.

Regardless of your opinion of him, if Vince had not marketed the WWE to a national level, wrestling would still be kept to a small fanbase (not the mainstream public), relegated to dark smoky arenas and TV studios and a low production budget, have third-rate advertising (ie remember those Ginzu commercials?), and a lot of wrestlers today wouldn't be making six-figure salaries. I'm not sure if any other promoter like Verne Gagne would've taken the gamble on making their company go national had Vince not taken that first step. The AWA and NWA (Crockett specifically) had to follow suit in going national in order to compete with Vince or both companies would've gone out of business much earlier than they would have.
FYI Vince never bought the WWE. He inherited the company from his father Vince Sr.

Without the fame of Wrestlemania wrestling doesn't become as big.
WCW might have still gone national.
There would be no ECW because it came from NWA, and NWA would have been more popular without WWF.
Wrestlemania is what made wrestling big, and without it wrestling would have never become the once #1 watch show in America. Well the #1 and #2 Raw and Nitro

If Vince Jr did the failings he did to make his corporation great, i think of professional Wrestling would nonetheless be known.. to an quantity. Had WWF long gone out of corporation, then we'd've been left with WCW and we don't understand how WCW would prove if WWF did no longer exist because of the fact theres alot of possibilites that would desire to ensue. perchance the small businesses (ROH, Dragon Gate u . s . a ., CHIKARA) probably won't exist because of the fact maximum of their skills are based off of WWE superstars and almost lots of the roster competed in the WWE (perchance with the exception to Dragon Gate and CHIKARA). enable's settle for it, with out Hulkamania, Wrestlemania, and activities entertainment, the WWF would not be the place it incredibly is right this moment. it is particularly plenty a certainty. Hulkamania helped launch the WWF into mainstream status and it replaced into featured on almost each television talk coach you will desire to call of on the time. So yeah, with out all of that, the WWF would be no longer something right this moment and Vince would probably be doing something else. BQ: I won't say there "previous" yet rather "overused". each from time to time human beings even combination up lots of the words, like whilst someones heel, they think of there tweener because of the fact they attack the two the faces and heels, and Vice-Versa. right this moment, followers understand the heels extra because of the cyber web and the certainty we can watch previous fits of the wrestler to truly see regardless of if or no longer they deserve our understand and in the event that they'd desire to be cheered as a heel, or if we would desire to consistently do our activity and boo the heel like protocol.

There would be no wrestling without Vince. No WWE = no TNA = no OVW and so on.
We'd all be watching soap operas and friday night fights for entertainment.
