Its called perspective. yours seems to more on the negative side. the effect and varying theorys around this common view is well documented in psychology studies.

If you actually take chronological measurements of when it rains and for how long over a year (or perhaps jus a few months) you will probaly find that your perspective is couloured more by outlook than reallity.

the reason, as I think it works?
well wen its fine we dont stop to make a fuss, the emotional power around that isnt very high. however when it does rain, you can actually feel down, even annoyed at disrupted plans, creating a more potent memory around the concept of 'it rains on my day off', that sticks out in memory.

It was sunny all through my exams at school, and now as soon as it is almost the holidays, it's raining! Anyway, lets make the most of it. I read that this could be our last rainy summer for ten years or so because of global warming and sea currents.

Hi Charlie,
It might be raining outside but as long as there's sunshine in your heart, you're okay. Just look to those who love you to light up your life. And your little doggy too!

So the grass can grow ridiculously fast so when you do have a sunny day off, you have to mow your lawn. Well, that's how it is here in Louisiana. Good luck. 2D

cos you have weekends off and statistically they have more rain.something to do with mon-fri factories, etc. spewing out smoke and other polution particles which help to "seed" clouds and then saturday/sunday there is less of these particles so there is a net loss of rain cloud. ie it rains more than the clouds form. something like that im no meteorologist

Wow. I can't think of anywhere on this planet where weather is that predictable. Please let me know your work schedule, I can plan around the weather.

Feeling bad for ourselves, is only going to compound our misery.

Rainy days are great days -- if you let them be that way.
