check to make sure your green audio wire is plugged in to the back of your computer
make sure the speakers are plugged in to a power source
make sure the speaker wires are plugged in to an amp(if applicable)
on the very bottom right of your computer screen there should be an icon of a speaker, click it, then make sure your volume isn't muted
IF none of this works you might be having problems with your audio card....make sure it's still plugged in firmly to the mother board.
Hope this helps!

Make sure your system's sound settings is configured correctly in your audio manager if you have any.
Next, investigate your sound card. Try to see if you can hear through ear phones.. if yes, problem is in your speaker.
If the settings in your audio devices and system's audio is fine.. the problem may be in your sound card, try reinstalling the driver, if that doesnt work too, replace the sound card.

Make sure the wires are properly connected and there is power to the unit. If all of this is ok, check the system drivers. Also check device manager and make sure they are enabled.
If this does not help, write again with more info on what you checked and provide product info and we can dig deeper.

Most probably u dont have a sound driver installed.
If its there, try reinstalling it.
If it isnt there, install using your drivers' cd or go to microsoft updates website.
