I need a keyboard for a laptop fast?

The keyboard on my laptop has been falling apart for a while and no longer works so i removed it but the replacement i got is the wrong model. Is there anyway a desktop keyboard will work on my laptop? (excluding USB keyboards)

yes desktop will work unless u r have a ps2 port in ur laptop...if not u must buy a ps2 to USB convertor and then u can use the desktop keyboard....

"(excluding USB keyboards)" means your laptop has to have a PS/2 keyboard connector on the back.

If not, it's USB or nothing.
