we have been going to both----here in our area we do not have Superstores...so we go to the grocery store for our groceries and to walmart for things like cat food, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc.
walmart def. has the cheaper prices...but as of late we have found that the customer service sucks....we have sent an email to the corporate office, tried to contact the store and we are not getting anywhere....but there prices are cheaper...

so do we patronize them with cheap prices and crappy customer service...or not at all? unfortunately the almightly dollar speaks loud

good luck

I hate Wal-mart and would never go there. Don't care if they have better prices. I like Trader Joe's for most things and would fill in with Whole foods or similar type of store.

The one time I had a problem at a Wal-mart customer service was awful and I never went back.

I love my Wal-mart SC! I get everything there in one stop. I have a couple grocery stores that are closer, but Wal-mart has everything I need in one stop, cheaper prices, and I always run into someone I know! (small town) Customer service is great too...my 2 year old lost one of his shoes, we told customer service, and they found it and kept it for us. I have friends that work there also. So, shopping there is actually an enjoyable experience.

I like to get groceries at Trader Joe's because it's organic and doesn't have chemicals and **** and is trustworthy and pretty cheap, but things I don't put in my mouth I like wal-mart. For that kinda stuff it's pretty idiotic to go to a local store and pay like 10 times what you should and get shitty service that isn't convenient.

With the price of driving anymore I shop local. I am in the middle of nowhere and it would take alot of savings to make me drive elsewhere. Besides they know me here in town and stock plenty of my cheap beer.
