She was married and her husband knew the child wasn't his they have since gotten a divorce and now I have to deal with the feelings all over again. My husband and I have a 4 yr old. He now pays child support but the other guy is the Dad and the child has the other guys name. Any suggestions on how to cope AGAIN.

This is the results of when someone cheats. They only think about themselves and don't think of the pain and trouble that their actions cause.

Oh geez, Gina, I'm sorry to hear about this.

Seems like it's opening the wounds again, fresh. What did you do the first time? Did you talk to a counselor? Did you work through it with family or friends? While I don't know what I would've done in your shoes, I'm not sure how to handle it either.

Start with seeking a friend, a family member, even a counselor for yourself, you chose to stay with him, you need to find someone to help you cope with all of your feelings because another child from another woman would have been the final straw for me.

Wow, I'm sure it's going to be difficult for you to deal with. Remember one thing, both children are innocent in this situation. Both deserve loving parents. & step-parents. You may want to get counseling to learn coping skills & tools that help deal with this situation. You may have to forgive again every single day. But you sound like a level-headed person and I'm sure you'll do well. Best of luck to you. 2D

Yikes, salt in a very old wound. I would just try to remember the coping skills you used last time, and maybe counseling could help you both :)

Good luck, see boys, this is what can happen!!!!!
