how much does a decent funeral cost for an 9 year old boy???

My daughter's funeral cost us $8,200, that's without the marker.
As for the marker, the ex decided to get all extravagant and buy the most expensive one for $10,000.
This is in Iowa so I'm sure it depends upon the state.

funerals are expensive but it varies greatly depending on where you live.funerals are less expensive in smaller towns i think because they are not as busy usually.the cemetery plots in rural areas are much less expensive .the best thing to do is to call around and compare prices for your area.i am sorry about your loss.
